Saturday's trip to the Etihad is important as Tuchel's side look to secure a top-four finish this season but the German coach admits he will need to make some changes to freshen up his side.

It could mean the likes of Tammy Abraham, Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud will get the chance to impress as Chelsea gear up for an exciting finish to the season with the FA Cup final against Leicester City also coming up on 15th May.

"I imagine we'll need some fresh legs and fresh minds (against City), guys who want to show they deserve a chance in a big fixture," Tuchel said in his press conference.

"Whether there will be new stuff tactically I don't know. I haven't decided yet. There is a high possibility we will see some changes."

Tuchel also confirmed he has no fresh injury worries for the City clash but Mateo Kovacic remains out injured. The midfielder could return for Wednesday's home game with Arsenal ahead of next weekend's Wembley date with the Foxes.

Chelsea are 16/5 to beat City on Saturday, Pep Guardiola's side are 10/11 to win and the draw is 12/5.
